RESOURCE GUIDE

PROTECT YOUR CHILDREN

The average age for exposure to Internet porn is only 11 years.

The International Pentecostal Holiness Church has joined the fight to protect our children. We are joining with the iCare Coalition to help inform people about the options available to protect your family.

Click here to download the booklet, Sex and Cell Phones: Protect Your Children ; or you may go to the iCare Coalition website for more information. Take advantage of this opportunity to inform your local church about this insidious threat. We have been silent too long. Now is the time to take action.

FAMILY MINISTRY
Honoring the Marriages of the Greatest Generation
The Institute for American Values is working on a project to preserve stories from local communities of marriages that began in the 1940s and 50s. Many of these men and women wrote love letters to each other during World War II. In that same spirit, please invite members of the Greatest Generation to write a love letter to their sweetheart today, perhaps using some of the starter questions below.
  • What have you learned about life and love?
  • What were the surprises, joys, and challenges of married life?
  • What was the secret to your success?
  • What do you want to pass on to the next generation?
  • In short, what is your story and marital advice?
Your letter will be kept anonymous and may be shared in a publication. Please mail your letter to:

The Institute for American Values
ATTN: Emily Luschin
1841 Broadway, Suite 211
New York, NY 10023

Or email your letter to: ggmarriages@gmail.com

Thanks for helping IAV solicit love letters from the Greatest Generation to honor their marital legacy and to compile their marital advice!

Letters will not be returned. Your name will be entered into a drawing. The winner will receive a copy of "The Book of Marriage: The Wisest Answers to the Toughest Questions" and "Thrift: A Cyclopedia."

Chick-fil-A presents WinShape Ride for the Family

Come join motorcycle riders from Chick-fil-A, WinShape Marriage, the Marriage CoMission, and other organizations as we cruise through the scenic Southeast Sept. 30 - Oct. 6. Our goal with the WinShape Ride for the Family is to inspire communities to celebrate and strengthen marriages and families. Rallies and events along the route are intended to motivate communities to treasure their families and support local marriage and family organizations (proceeds will go to benefit the host cities' marriage and family initiatives). This is a great opportunity to build relationships with the Marriage CoMission network and to celebrate marriage and family! For more information and to register, please visit the Ride website.
